Sari Ka Rang

These photographs were taken in collaboration with a Fine Art student, who created the tie-dye effect on the sari herself. I came up with the concept for the shoot, thinking about how I could best capture and showcase her work while she wore the sari.

Throughout the shoot, we played around with different poses and expressions. In some of the photographs, her stance feels quite delicate and vulnerable, while in others, she really shows her power and confidence as a feminine woman wearing a sari. Those are particularly some of my favourite images from the shoot.

It was such an enjoyable collaboration between just two students, bringing our different creative ideas together and helping to elevate each other’s work.
